"He m. 3ndly." el 2 enero de 1776 con Dorothy (fallecida el 31 marzo 1820) xth. hija y co-heredera de William Beckwith, J. P. of Lambrill, Masham. Yorkshire, y murio el 10 agosto 1803 habiendo tenido un unico hijo:
Charles Oxley, de Ripon Hall, J.P., nac. el 19 Setiembre 1776, casado 1stly con Margaret (fall. feb 1819, a los 39) yst. (?) hija de Edmund Lodge, de Willow Hall, Yorkshir, y tuvieron descendencia:
1- Charles Christopher, "of whom presently" (que querra decir eso...?! "de quien estamos hablando ?" quizas...?)
2- Thomas, H.E.I.C.S. Capitan, 23th. L.L., nac. 7 octubre 1815, casado en Fort William, Bengala, el 24 mayo 1841 con Jessie Amellia Wylle, y fallecio el 13 oct. 1843.
